ORIGINS: Turkish cotton is a premium cotton that has extra-long fibres. It is grown in the small region of the Aegean part of Turkey, where the fibres are picked and then spun into yarn. 
 
PROPERTIES AND QUALITIES: Turkish cotton is a long staple fibre that turns into in strong, smooth threads when spun. It is initially less absorbent than other types of cotton,yet it is ideal for towels as the towel dries more quickly. Turkish cotton becomes softer and more absorbent after multiple washes. 
 
HOW DOES IT FEEL? Turkish cotton is a very soft fibre. 
 
CARE: Turkish cotton items can be washed at up to 30°C. They can be air dried or tumble dried on a low heat.
